OK..can you say GROSS!!! Who had any idea that those awful bugs lurked in something that CLEANS your clothes! Ewwww. Thanks for the link to the other post, I will now be cleaning and disinfecting my washer this week..lol! Fortunately for me, I have a new washer and not an old crusty one (such as was described in the article). Maybe I should just wear disposable gloves..lol…I don’t have time to go inside the house to wash my hands before I transfer clothes to the dryer! Thank God for good immune systems..LOL!

Loved the old blog and am loving the new one :)

Blessings!

After reading that article, no joke, I went straight to my washing machine and cleaned it. The washing machine was the last place i’d ever think germs would lurk!

I’m thinking:

Empty dryer and fold clean clothes.
Transfer maybe clean clothes from washer to dryer.
Load dirty clothes in washer.
Go wash your hands!

In the late 1990s I read about research that found laundry done at a laundromat had more bacteria on it after it had been finished than when it was started:-(. I didn’t have a washer and dryer at the time. I’m grateful now to have those and be able to clean and disinfect the inside of the washer.
