You Say Tomato, I Say Salmonella

Just a heads up, folks. Several states have reported cases of salmonella-infected roma and round red tomatoes. Read the details here from the Food and Drug Administration. Don’t freak out, just be informed.

I heard about this. Fortunately our state is not listed.

I just can’t understand how the tomatoes got Salmonella? Anyone know? Or do I WANT to know?
