What I’m Not Cooking This Week

If you were tracking with me last week, you know that I spent four mornings cookin’ up a storm chez moi. This week we’re going to reap the rewards of that. I’m not cooking this week! (OK, I have to heat it up and make side dishes. But, that’s just icing on the cake.)

Later this week, I’m also going to present some tips for you to do this at home. Yes, you can do it, too!

In the meantime, here’s what we’re feasting on this week:

Sunday – FishPapa grills chicken and veggies, salad, rice
Monday – Lasagna, salad, foccacia
Tuesday – Chicken Enchilada Casserole, beans, rice, salad
Wednesday – Spaghetti and Meatballs
Thursday – Black Bean Pie, Salad
Friday – Burgers and Fries
Saturday – Chicken Packets, Salad

  1. Hi FishMama!

I’ve been checking your blog since doing a few CVS newbie deals that you posted a while back (btw, thanks!). I don’t usually have manuf. Q’s, so your deals are helpful to me!

I did a big OAMC session before my daughter was born nearly 2 years ago, too, and it was VERY helpful! Now I’m due in about 8 weeks and have tried to put a few meals in the freezer since I remember how handy it was.

Do you have a list of the kinds of things you made/recipes? The black bean pie sounds good! We try to eat frugally but healthy, which is always a challenge. ;) Thanks in advance for any ideas you can post – it’s great to be able to learn from each other! :)

    Hi Vicky,

Thanks for visiting. I’m glad that the CVS posts are helpful to you.

I’ll be writing some more OAMC posts over the coming months, including recipes. I just don’t want to overwhelm everyone if it’s not their thing.

Looks like we’ll be having babies at the same time. Blessings!

  3. I admire you for doing all the OAMC. I’ve tried it a few times, and it’s just not my thing. I prefer to do bulk cooking of meats and then use them to speed up dinner prep. Enjoy your easy week in the kitchen! :)

Every little bit helps, Amy. That meat prep is a great way to go.

  5. We had Lasagna Roll-Ups this week and they turned out yummy! I really like focaccia bread!

Hope you have a wonderful week!
