Are You Up for An Interview?

August 13, 2008

I’m working on a few new articles and am looking for MOMs who would be interested in being interviewed.

Topics include:

- Frugal Christmas Ideas
- Your Baby Trip to the Hospital
- Holiday traditions
- Having a baby after 35

I would need to be able to quote you, post your full name, and name your city and state. If you’re interested, please email me at lifeasmom (at) sbcglobal (dot) net.

I’d like to be part of your blog interview. I’m 45 and have 8 children (all still at home, ages 19 to 8).

I am currently 30 weeks pregnant, so if you need me for your “trip to the hospital” section I am available. Middletown, OH

You can interview me to see if I have any stories worth pursuing. I’ll be 50 in September and have a 10 year old at home. He had two surgeries as a baby. We have some holiday traditions and I don’t remember the other question. Let me know.

Our family will be starting a whole new tradition this year for the holidays, a “no buy christmas” Last year was INSANE!! way too much stuff for the family. I think I wrapped over 100 gifts for all the people that come to the house. Most were WAY under 10.00 each but still! just too much excess and it didnt fufill or satisfy or make our extended family closer. And much of the excess the children recieved was tossed to the pile for the favor of the “favorite” toys. This year the kids get 1 count it 1 gift. Thats all. my DH and I are exchanging whatever funky thing we can get for our 10.00 per spouse limit. Come watch out adventures as we explore this new way of celebrating!!

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
