This Week

So I’m having a baby this week. Sometime between now and Tuesday afternoon, Lord willing.

This past week’s heavy duty contractions and nausea kind of threw a wrench in my plans, like getting the house cleaned to sell and planning out all sorts of uplifting blog posts. Those things fell by the wayside as I spent the last day and a half napping and nibbling chicken broth and saltines.

We will definitely let you know when the Big Event occurs and maybe, just maybe, the hospital will have wi-fi. We shall see…. I seem to always have lots of free time while in the hospital. I am trusting God that things will be as low-key as they have been in the past.

This is all to say, I may be around a lot, or I may not. I covet your prayers for an easy and safe delivery and recovery. We have a lot to do in the next month. I am excited (and nervous) to see how God pulls us through.

Don’t forget to put in your guess on the baby’s weight. Contest will be open until I post the Big News. Thanks for reading!

  1. Awww!! Yea Babies!! I say that to Anna all the time. I can’t believe it has been almost 5 months since I was in your position!! And, our hospital did have Wi Fi, but being on my computer was the last thing I wanted to do… I think I got on once or twice. DH used it more. Lots of thoughts and prayers coming your way! I hope all goes well, and you and baby have an easy breezy delivery and recovery!!

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
