What Do YOU Think?

So, I’ve added a poll to the sidebar. I’d like to know your opinion:

Do you enjoy the Toolin’ Up Tuesday posts? Are they helpful to you? Will you participate if I continue to do them? Is there a way that you would modify or improve them? Please give your input in the comments section.

Please vote. I don’t want to waste your time (or mine) on something that is not helpful.

  1. Not sure what I think about Toolin’ Tuesday. I’ll have to go back and look at some old ones as I haven’t been reading for that long.

One question – Did you write an article for Atlanta Parent magazine this month? If so, it was great. If not, ignore this comment.

  2. Well, I think you know that I like Toolin Tuesday. I know the whole Tooling Tueday goes together but maybe a different day would make a difference. Tuesday seems like a popular carnival day to me. That is the only suggestion I have. Except maybe do it once a month instead of every week but then that makes it harder to remember. I don’t know I like it the way it is. :)

  3. My computer is freaking on me. Posting the comment twice before I’m even done….

Emily, yes that was me. Thanks!

Lynn, thanks for your suggestion and for being such a loyal fan of TUT.

  4. I do like TUT, but I haven’t actually participated because it seems that I never have time to post something on my blog on that particular day and then leave a link.

I like to read Toolin’ it Up Tuesday, but I haven’t yet participated. My blog is pretty new and deals with issues surrounding extremely premature infants. They certainly require lots of “tools”, but I’m not sure that they would be super useful to the general public!

  6. JessieLeigh, I appreciate your sensitivity to the “mainstream.”

But, I think that sharing those “tools” to help with premature infants would be really important! The idea is “what makes life easier for you?” You never know how many other moms are in the same boat and could SO use the help.

  7. JessieLeigh says:

I’d be delighted to offer up some tools that have not only made my life easier… some days I think they’re the only reason I made it through at all! : )

I appreciate your explanation; I was just concerned with “taking up your space” with something quite specialized.

  8. JessieLeigh, that is kind of you. But, really, I want this to be a place where MOMs get help. My situations are not everyone else’s, and we need to help each other out.

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
