It’s been awhile since I spent some time checking out the drugstore sneakpeeks at Hot Coupon World. But, after spending 2 hours clipping the coupons that I’ve neglected for the last month, I realize it’s better to stay on top of things.
Tonight I played catch-up on organizing my coupon stash and checking out the sales forecast for the week. I also made my return trips to Walgreens and Target. I garnered free Robitussin and Advil as well as lots of Kashi products for about $.50 each. Very cool.
While Walgreens has been topping the charts recently, it look like a quiet week ahead.
CVS doesn’t look all that exciting to my mind, either. But, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. So be sure to check their ad tomorrow in case there’s something you really need on special. Here are a few things that stood out to me that families might appreciate:
* Buy 6 jars of Skippy peanut butter for $10, get $3 back. This makes it $1.17/jar. There are coupons out there from an August insert for $.50-.60 off, which would make this a great deal on peanut butter.
* Children’s Tylenol – $5.99, get $1 ECB. There will be coupons in tomorrow’s paper for $1 off. It seems that this is a product that very rarely goes on sale. I’m not sure how $3.99 compares with the generic price, but it could be a good deal.
