MOM Deals This Week

October 12, 2008

Well, it looks like I might actually hit both Walgreens and CVS this week. There are some nice little bargains on both fronts.

At CVS this week are some nice makings to a spa basket. Might be good to think about for Christmas presents:
Skin Vitals facial mask – these are $2.99 each and give back $2 ECB = .99
Almay products are Buy One Get One Free. Combine with recent insert coupons.
Revlon products are BOGO as well. Combine with recent insert coupons.
Sobe Life Waters – 5 for $5, get back $3, making them 5/$2
Cover Girl Products are Buy $10, Get $3 back.

Purchase an assortment of manicure tools, nail polishes, facial mask, and life water. Throw in some chocolates and a copy of The At-Home Spa Experience, and you’ve got a fun gift.

At Walgreens is a stock piling week for me. Before our move, I let supplies dwindle in order to lighten the load. Now, it’s back to building up my warehouses. Later this week, I’ll explain more about building a stockpile of good deals. Some things I’ll be purchasing in multiples this week include:

bottled water $2.99/24 pk
Arm and Hammer laundry soap $2.99 – $1 rebate – $1 coupon = .99 (limit 1)
Ajax 2/$1
Aluminum foil .89
Bounty basic .89
Lysol Cleaner w/ free wipes 3.99
BOGO Lysol products
Walgreens Ibuprofin 3/$5 after rebate
Advil Buy 3@$6.99, get $10 back = 3/$11

Cream of Chicken Soup 5/$4

Hey Steph,

I heard about it. I haven’t had a chance to go through the paper yet. Gotta see how far I have to go for Rite-Aid. Maybe they even have Thrifty’s ice cream???!!!

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
