I think the kids could have stayed up later, but I was having trouble keeping my eyes open. I wish I had their energy. The movie was over by 8:30 so we rested until 11:45 and watched the ball drop then went to bed. We do not do the whole party thing, do want my teenage son around alcohol so we always stay home.
