Managing Motherhood and Pregnancy

It’s hard to believe that exactly a year ago I took this photo of the FishChick. Then, I was in the throes on pregnancy nausea 24/7. Hmmm….good times. I don’t think my house was too clean in those early months. My “life as MOM” was limited to supplying food and clean underwear. Thankfully, those days are passed, and we now have little FishBaby to love and cuddle now.

Managing pregnancy and motherhood is, indeed, a challenge. In case you missed it, I recently guest posted at Keeper of the Home. There you can read my suggestions for How To Do Life While Pregnant.

Thank you for sharing this, I really need this right now!! I’m pregnant with my 3rd and although my girls are 12 and 7 and are pretty self sufficient I feel like a bad mom for not being able to do all the things I used to!!

I stumbled on your guest blog entry today and what a HUGE blessing it was. I’m now preg. with our 3rd and have had the hardest time yet (as far as preg symptoms) and have been dealing with all the guilt that comes with ‘letting things go’ ie – housework, and the needs of my dear husband and kids. They are very understanding, but this post helped me refocus in a much needed way. Thanks again, so much for taking the time to share and allowing God to use your life.

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
