Celebrating Summer with Giveaways! Win Clorox Bleach

TIME’s UP! THANKS FOR PLAYING. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER TODAY.

In light of my summer cleaning frenzy, it only makes sense to host a giveaway for Clorox Bleach.

According to 25 Ways to Save Energy and Money from ConsumerReports, the average family could save about $60 a year by simply using cold water rather than hot to wash their clothing. Clorox® wants you to know that their Regular-Bleach gives the same great whitening results in cold water as it does in hot, making it an ideal product for families to use when trying out this money saving method.

Clorox sent me some coupons so that I could try their products. Having lived for awhile with a septic tank, I was never a big bleach user. But, I’d been hearing from other sources (like my mom) that I needed to start using bleach as a disinfectant. (My mom trains and equips preschool teachers and caregivers, so I figured I’d better listen.)

So, we gave Clorox a test drive recently, using both their color-safe products as well as their regular chlorine bleach and its spill-less counterpart. While mine was certainly not a clinical study, I didn’t notice any ill effects in our laundry, and I know that using cold water saved us more than a few pennies.

Up for today’s giveaway are coupons for free Clorox product. SIX Winners will each receive coupons good for one free bottle of regular bleach and one free bottle of color-safe Clorox.

Just fill in the form below and answer the trivia question correctly for your chance to win. (Click through if you’re reading this through a reader.) All the answers will be available on LifeasMOM. You just might have to poke around. If you answer correctly, you’ll have a chance to win. All contests will end on Saturday, June 27th at midnight PST. Open to US addresses only.

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
