– Free Chick-Fil-A – no, we didn’t dress as cows, like last year. Instead, last month our local Chick-Fil-A featured “Come Back Day.” If we saved our receipt from that visit, they would give us the exact same order for free in July. We redeemed that earlier this week when the scheduled beans and rice didn’t seem to fit the bill. (We had beans and rice the next day to rave reviews. Go figure.)
– two “free” or prepaid oil changes. It depends on how you look at it. Aamco ran a special last winter. Purchase a promotional service card for $85 and receive a wealth of services for “free,” including 5 oil changes @ $30 value for each. We haven’t quite “got our money back” but we’re on track to do so.
Here are some good deals I see from where I sit:
Smoking prices (like FREE) on school supplies at CVS from Sunday to Tuesday. Check out my primer for this week for some tips on stretching your buck.
Sign up with Swagbucks and earn points for online searching. We’re halfway to a new camera in just the last month or so by redeeming our Swagbucks for Amazon gift cards. You can also trade your Swagbucks for Paypal $ and gift cards to Restaurant.com, Starbucks, and itunes. If you refer friends and family to Swagbucks, you earn points every time they do, up to 100 points per referral. If you’re already on board and saving your points for something cool, keep in mind that you can only redeem two prizes per day, so it may take awhile to accumulate enough gift cards for your goal.
