Why Christmas?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

– John 3:16

Without Jesus, there is no Christmas. He came so that we may be reconciled to God. The tree, the ornaments, and the cookies (yes, them, too) are pointless if you don’t know this.

Amen. Jesus is the Reason for the Season. Please let us always remember that. How can we forget…..he gave his life for our sins and for that I will be forever grateful, faithful, and know I will see him.

I couldn't agree more. It's a Christmas Tree, not a Holiday Tree. I'm tired of our society worrying about offending the athiests who celebrate Christmas but want to keep God out of it.

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.
