I love picking my own ------- fill in the blank with whatever is in season, but I often find that it is more expensive than the grocery store price! The only exception has been blueberries. Maybe it is just my area? Last year our apples at the u-pick farm were over $1/lb - much pricier than the grocer's sales. <br /><br /> We are still going this year because I love the experience, but we definitely can't stock up on those prices!
