I agree with you. I'm always looking on the ground for coupons or register rewards. You'd be amazed what you find. Also look in the carts. I've found several Target coupons that way.

I once found a $5 Catalina,good for anything! Can you imagine someone tossing a $5 bill?
One way I treat coupons as cash involves ECBs from CVS. As soon as I get in my car, before I even start the engine, I check the bottom of my receipt, remove any ECBs I want and put them right into my wallet. (It makes no sense to me to do this in the store, while carrying wallet, keys, and shopping bag, LOL!)
This way, I always have them on hand when I return. Same goes for register rewards from Walgreen's!

Saving old magazines just saved me $$ on reading material. My dd discovered an old issue of a magazine she was given a subscription to 3 years ago. The magazine has relatively timeless info so the date of the issue is of no consequence and she's really enjoying it.
