A good night of sleep seems to be all he needed. So far, so good. Thanks for your prayers!

Love the sneeze in the elbow thing. My mom trains preschool teachers and she taught me that trick a few years ago. Love it. Especially when I'm in the kitchen.

My child came home from school saying that they learned to cough and sneeze into their elbow with Germy Wormie, and I was totally taken aback. I always covered with my hands. But I went to the website and now I get it, hands touch, elbows don't!! Kids can touch 300 surfaces in 1/2 hour and they hate to wash their hands. This is a simple thing that can make a huge difference.

Just wanted to chime in about what our family does to keep the sickies away. Especially that swine flu (hubby was exposed at work but never got it because I was cramming him full of good things) Vitamin D, Omega 3 fatty acids, Olive leaf extract, Vitamin C along with a good multi-vitamin and it is as effective as the Kryptonite that defeats Superman! If you want the dosages I used I would have no problem sharing! jtmabpark@msn.com

Theresa

TRM, I was thinking about this when my brother made tortilla soup that was really heavy in the garlic dept. last night. I'll let you know if we do it and how it turns out. Thanks!

Thank you, Stephenie!

We've had the flu at our house. With six children myself, I can understand what you're looking at going through. We are still waiting to see if the 8 week is going to get it. So far, my husband and myself are okay. We'll be praying for your family.

I'm sorry your hubby is getting sick but I'm going to give you our tried and true remedy that will keep a cold down to 3 days. That is of course if you start drinking it at the first signs of getting sick. My kids even drink it. It's not as bad as it sounds.
Here's the Link for Garlic Tea! http://homesteadersheart.blogspot.com/2008/06/ode-to-garlic.html
Take lots of vitamin C and Elderberry too. We just had the kids get colds and it lasted 3 days and we (the parents) never caught it because we were taking the same thing. It may be worth a try!
Blessings,
Kim
