When we moved into our house, we had a gas smell in the laundry room - it had to do with the way the drain was set up and sewer gas was coming back through the drain. We poured a bottle of wesson oil down the drain and the smell was gone. I think this might be b/c our laundry room is on the 2nd floor. I hope your "gas" smell gets better! Good luck! It's been an eventful week!<br /><br />POW-When we believed we were virtually homeless and were desperately looking for a home to buy as our landlord wanted us out for a month so he could lift the house and rebuild the foundation. Nothing in our price range that wasn't junk.<br /><br />WOW-After two weeks of torment, believing we would soon be living in a camper in my parent's horse pasture, our landlord decided to cancel the project until April, giving us more time to find a home to buy or rent.<br /><br />POW-My daughter's misbehavior this week. Kicking and tripping little brothers, being sassy, coloring a 6 foot by 3 foot section of wall pink as well as bed sheet, brother's face and her legs, cutting holes in her nice pants with scissors, spitting in baby's face, etc.<br /><br />WOW-Magic eraser, true forgiveness, an awesome Mother/Daughter date where we reconnected and I gave her the attention she'd been lacking during our stress.<br /><br />POW-Our best friends moved a few states away this week. I always try to ask my 1st grader what was something great that happened at school that day & what bad thing hapened...of course the bad things never happen to her ;)<br />My POW this week was being diagnosed with Hypothyroidism & a goiter (yuck!). My WOW was getting a packet from my 1st grader's school saying they want to test her for Gifted & Talented program. I think your POW-WOW is a great idea!
