I've set my cell phone alram for 6:15 daily. I don't always get up at that time, but I'm working on it! At least I'm getting up before my kiddos so that's a move in the right direction!

uh oh. I must be doing this wrong.

I made a list of 10 things that I need to do to have a more peaceful life, some are one time things, so are habits I'm trying to get into. Hope at least some of them stick!

http://farmhomelife.blogspot.com/2009/11/10-ways-to-de-stress-your-life.html

I've been staying off the computer til naptime the last 2 weeks and making a daily to do list. I need marching orders for the day to make sure time gets used wisely. I'm making small progress and I think my 2yo is responding to it as well! Keep up the good work!

Good job in getting to bed earlier. This helps me more than anything. I really need to work on limiting my computer time....that's my biggest vice right now.

Good for you getting to bed early and limiting your online time. I really need to work on the latter! You are so right: two minutes quickly leads to twenty (or two hours...) and so much is left undone. I'm definitely going to work on that.

My personal goal is to watch my calorie intake and exercise every week-day in November, and so far I'm doing pretty well with that!

The best tool I've found is not trying to over schedule. Before baby, I was very organized. Post baby, that organization has fallen by the wayside along with sleep and showers. So, instead of trying to schedule my day by time, I simply make a to do list- and put one copy on my computer and one on my fridge. Those are two places I know I will be regularly during my day :) I also find that planning my meals frees up so much time and energy! Along with a couple planned leftover meals.

Great Job getting to bed on time! Baby steps are great! My schedule has been working a lot better during this past week - I wrote it out on two pieces of paper and taped it to my stove - so I'd see it OFTEN!! :) I also had a long talk with my husband about it this past weekend so I'm feeling very supported! :) I limit my computer time too -- early morning 6 to 7. (before the kids wake up) nap time 12 to 2. and then after they are in bed - an hour max... These are my options and if there are things to do? Then I don't get on the computer. I am struggling with responding to comments - they mean so much to me, but I really can't take time away from my family.

my good habit for the month was to cook a big pot of something on Friday or Saturday morning to last us through the weekend so we wouldn't be scrounging for something to eat last minute and then running out to eat. I never feel like cooking every meal on the weekends! This week I didn't do it, actually, partly because we really need to go grocery shopping and I didn't have a plan for what to make in larger quantities. The weekend went alright, though, and we had two meals that were just sandwiches, and one meal where we went out to eat, but it was more of a treat than a necessity and it was a fun family activity. Next week I'll try it again, though.
