I just pulled out our Christmas glasses this morning. Like Amy, the kids each receive an ornament each year (I date them, so we don't forget). I really like the ideas of having Christmas mugs for the kids. I may make that a stocking stuffer this year. I agree completely that these kind of traditions help keep our kids grounded and secure. I will have to remember that for when our little one(s?) gets old enough (needs to be born, first :P ). They each open 2 gifts, new jammies and an ornament. These ornaments will one day be theirs to decorate their trees when they are on their own.
