I love that picture! It looks so much like an American in Paris! Aahh. I, too, loved France and all things French when I was young. How can anyone not? The food, the love in the air, the iconic buildings and statues – The Louvre, Eiffel Tower, L’Arc De Triomphee. I haven’t been there since college, but it was a dream come true to spend time there. Yeah, my life is much different now – SAHM with three kiddos. I wouldn’t change it for anything, but a vacation in France might have to be in our future!

As an older mom (I started momming at 40) I have found myself trying to mimic younger moms from time to time. But you know – I am who I am. I learn a lot from others, but I am proud to be true to myself and my family!

LOVE IT! I spent my junior year of college in Bonn, Germany — unfortunately, I did not keep track of every “Mark and Dollar” even then! That has certainly changed (as has the Mark) — as have I. I only have half the kids you do — where has the time gone? But they are my life and joy. (Even the teenager!)
