  • Cold Weather and Company Dinners [6] – get cozy at home with your folks or invite people in, this cooking plan has you covered
  • Cozy Winter Breakfasts [7] – stick-to-your ribs oat dishes, granola, fruit-filled energy bars, and a variety of baking mixes

I’ve been working on my March Freezer Cooking plan. I think I found a workable model. But, only time will tell. A few months ago my regular approach was to prepare many casseroles and store them for later. Last month, I tried preparing many “meal components [11].” This month I’m combining the two methods and doing both.

Beef Dishes
ground beef [12] taco kits
meatballs and red sauce [13]
marinated tri-tip
marinated top sirloin
lasagna [14]

Chicken Dishes
jalapeno burn pizza [15] kits
shredded chicken taco kits
chicken enchiladas [16]
chicken chili
marinated chicken breast
asian-marinated chicken for topping Asian Chicken Salad with Noodles [17]
marinated chicken for rice bake [18] and the rice mix to go with

Meatless Meals
beans [19] for beans and rice [20]
burrito/chimichanga [21] kits
BRC enchiladas [16] (beans, rice, and cheese)
greek egg casserole
quiche lorraine
red sauce [13] for pasta

pancake mix [22]
breakfast cookie dough/cookies [23]
maple granola [24]
chocolate chip banana bread [25]
stuffed foccacia [26]
mashed potatoes

I’m aiming high this month. I’m not really sure I can pull this all off. But, I will most likely make some of these things over the weekend and into Monday and Tuesday. If you’ve not yet attempted Freezer Cooking, you might want to review my freezer cooking tutorial [27] and the type of planning that will make your freezer cooking day a success.

Don’t forget to share your plan over at Money Saving Mom [28] tomorrow afternoon.
