Meal Planning: Our Week and Tips for Starting Out

March 21, 2010

Chimichangas

The days are just packed! And they are flying by. March is almost over. Where did it go? We are still on vacation, or a long weekend, take your pick. But, since I plan meals out by the month and filled the freezer weeks ago, we’re good to go on this week’s meals. (Forget the fact that we’re out of milk and fruit. Gotta remember to pick some up on the way home!)

Here’s our meal plan for the week:

Chicken Enchiladas, Beans, Rice, Salad
Grilled Steak, Couscous Salad, Pita Bread (recipes coming!)
Pasta with Red Sauce, Salad, Garlic Bread
Chicken w/ Tomatoes and Feta Cheese Sauce (eventually I’ll get a good pic and post this one, too)
Pizza, Veggies and Dip
Chimichangas

Have you started meal planning? It will help you. I promise! Here are some ideas to inspire you:

I get your feed by email so I’m not always visiting the site, but I wanted to say thank you for putting the print/pdf button on your posts. Thats a very cool feature.
Love your ideas.

Ooh, that chicken with tomatoes and feta cheese sounds delish! I’ll look forward to that one. :)

Enjoyed your blog today…especially the fried rice post, as my girlie just asked yesterday if we could ‘figure out’ how to make it at home after we indulged in some good chinese takeout over the weekend!

Your Mexican dishes always make my mouth water. We are having enchiladas today too!
