Basic H2 and Shaklee Cleaning Supplies – A Giveaway

Earlier today I shared how I’m on a new cleaning kick. After months of just cleaning when the mood struck, which believe me, that kind of mood is fleeting, I’ve decided to reestablish a cleaning schedule.

Our family is in a season where I can let the kids play, including the toddler, and I can spend a couple hours tackling household task. In our busyness, I realize that if I don’t make a plan for cleaning, I won’t be so likely to do it.

Gathering Some New Tools

For years I’ve heard people sing the praises of Basic H, an organic super cleaning concetrate from Shaklee. Recently Kristina contacted me and offered to send me some products to review. Since I’d heard about the products, but never tried them — and since I definitely need to get my clean on — I jumped at the chance.

Basic H2 is an all-purpose concentrated cleaning solution that can be diluted to a number of different degrees and used for a number of different applications. I can see how one bottle could go a very, very long way. I was amazed at how easily and effortlessly I was able to get bathrooms scrubbed, using one basic cleaner.

Kristina also included a selection of other products in my starter kit, including Scour Off, Germ Off, Basic H cleaning wipes, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and some spray bottles and measuring tools.

All of these are perfect complements to my normal cleaning regime. I like to have simple cleaners to do a multitude of jobs.

  • Wash the mirrors
  • Wipe the counters
  • Scrub the sinks
  • Wipe down the toilets
  • Mop the floor

I was really pleased with the range of products I got to try and don’t see a reason not to continue using it, provided I can fit it in the budget.

This week TEN LifeasMOM readers will each win samples of Basic H2 to make 16-ounces of all purpose cleaner and 16-ounces of window cleaner.

If you’re already a fan of Shaklee products, simply contact Kristina with the code LifeasMOM to get a discount on your next order.

My challenge is having to clean something again I just cleaned 5 mins before LOL And with three kids 6 and under the mess never ends

  2. My biggest cleaning challenge is the shower. I just really dread it every time.

    • @Anna, Thanks for entering Anna! The shower was was one of my most dreaded cleaning tasks until I started using the Shaklee products! I remember actually getting dizzy from breathing in the fumes from a new cleaner that I had started using. Did you know that just 15 minutes of cleaning the shower with most shower cleaners exposes you to 3 times the safe limit of chemical!! Crazy! Good luck in the giveaway!

  3. My biggest challenge is just getting started!

    • @Jen, Thanks for entering Jen! I used to have trouble getting motivated to clean. Now I have a cleaning schedule like the one Jessica posted in her previous post. I’ll be sharing mine on my blog as well soon. Good luck in the giveaway!

  4. I tweeted!

  5. My biggest cleaning challenge is keeping the gas stove top clean!

    • @Denise, Thanks for entering Denise! I don’t have a gas stove (wish I did), but Shaklee has a products called Scour Off that works great for scrubbing up burnt on spills on stovetops! It works great on my glass cooktop! It has cherry pits in it so it smells yummy like cherries! Contact me if you have any questions about it! Good luck with the giveaway.

  11. My biggest cleaning challenge is finding motivation to clean. My second is fighting off the desire to drag the hose in the house and hose it ALL off!! :)

  12. Diana Campbell says:

Please pick me. My boys’ bathroom is beyond gross.

    • @Diana Campbell, Thanks for entering Diana! Bathroom cleaners are some of the most toxic cleaners out there! While I don’t have boys (just 2 little girls), I can clean my bathrooms safely and quickly using the Shaklee products. Good luck with the giveaway!

  13. My biggest challenge is finding “safe, natural, effective and budget-friendly” cleaners that don’t leave the bathroom smelling like vinegar! Would so love a chance to try this product!

    • @Stephenie, Thanks for entering Stephanie! Most people have the misconception that clean is supposed to smell like lemons or pine! I also do not like using vinegar to clean since I can’t stand the smell. Shaklee products are all natural and work great! They are actually cheaper to use than baking soda and vinegar because they are so concentrated. You can check out the cost comparison chart on my blog. Prepare to be amazed by how affordable Shaklee products actually are! Good luck with the giveaway!

  15. My biggest challenge is the little bits of wet dust that get left behind after wiping something down. It drives me crazy!

    • @Carla, Thanks for entering Carla! I love Shaklee products because they have replaced so many different types of cleaners that I used to use. I can wipe something down quickly and safely. I also was able to replace my “dusting” products with Basic H2! It really has hundreds of uses! Good luck with the giveaway!

  16. I read with Blogger.

  17. My biggest cleaning challenge is time right now. I have 4 children, 1 who is only 9 months old, so i have to stop quite often to tend to her.

    • @Amber ellis, Thanks for entering Amber! I totally understand your cleaning challenge as I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old who frequently require my attention while I am in the middle of naptime. What I like about Shaklee products is that I can clean while my kids are awake and playing near me and I don’t have to worry about exposing them to harsh chemicals. I don’t have to hurry and put the cleaning products up if I am in the middle of cleaning the bathroom. Good luck with the giveaway!

  18. Bathrooms and hardwood floors!

    • @Tina, Thanks for entering Tina! My wood floors used to be my “enemy” when it came to cleaning! They are a darker wood so everything shows up on it. I used the Basic H2 to clean my floors now and it works great! I also like that I can just use my all-purpose spray bottle (for cleaning counter tops, appliances, furniture, etc) and spray the floor real quick and wipe it up any spills! Good luck with the giveaway!

  19. My biggest challenge with 2 little boys is keeping the potty clean. I love the H2 all purpose cleaner. I’ve never tried the other products but would love to.

    • @Kristin S, Thanks for entering Kristin! Toilet cleaners are some of the most toxic cleaners. I love that I can clean the bathrooms while my 2 year old is standing near the doorway and not have to worry about exposing her to the chemicals. Basic G is a great disinfectant that I use to clean the bathrooms. If you check out the cost comparison chart on my blog (under the save $$$ tab at the top of my page), you can see that it is cheaper than most well known toilet bowl cleaners! Good luck with the giveaway!

  20. With a house full of boys….it’s the bathroom.

    • @Christina, Thanks for entering, Christina! While I have 2 girls and no boys (other than my husband), I hate cleaning the bathroom! Shaklee products make it easy and safe. I just spray down everything (sinks, toilets, tub) with Basic G and let it sit for 10 minutes and wipe it down. I don’t have to worry about exposing my children to toxic chemicals and it is more affordable than most bathroom cleaners that you can find. Good luck with the giveaway!

  21. Anywhere in the bathroom tends to be a challenge in my family.

    • @Diane G, Thanks for entering Diane! I totally agree about the bathrooms! I can quickly and safely clean my bathrooms (all 3) in about 15 minutes by using Basic H2 and Basic G…..and I am saving money by using them! Shaklee also sells Germ-off wipes that contain Basic G. They are great for quickly wiping down the countertops and toilet! Good luck with the giveaway!

  22. My biggest cleaning challenge is getting the motivation to do it.

    • @Heidi K, Thanks for entering Heidi! I started using a cleaning schedule like Jessica mentioned in her last post and it really helped me to take the time each day to work on the task of the day! Also, since Basic H2 literally has hundreds of uses, it eliminates the need to use so many different products! I can use one product to clean the counters, the appliances (stainless steel), the floors, the furniture, and more. You will find that it will definitely save you time…and money (check out the cost-comparison chart on my blog…under the save $$$ tab at the top!) Good luck with the giveaway!

  23. Follow Fish Mama on twitter and tweet: http://twitter.com/hkittelson/status/25527534756

  24. The biggest challenge is our shower…it has a very large GLASS door & glass wall – which is nearly impossible to keep clean!

    • @amy, Thanks for entering Amy! Shaklee’s cleaners are water based, not petroleum based. They leave no residue or film to re-attract dirt and grime. You get to clean less frequently and cleaning is easier when you do clean. Spending just 15 minutes cleaning the shower using regular shower cleaner exposes you to 3 times the safe level of chemical! I just spray down my shower with Basic G, let it sit for 10 minutes, and wipe it off. Basic H2 is also a great streak-free window cleaner especially when used with the microfiber window cloth. You can avoid soap scum by using natural beauty/soap products in the shower, but if you do have a problem with soap scum, try Scour off. It has cherry pits in it so it smells like cherries! Good luck with the giveaway!

  29. My biggest cleaning challeng is the kitchen ALL AREAS especially the oven. Had trouble with natural solutions like baking soda and lemon juice.

  30. My challenge is the bathroom. Or should I say the tubs and showers. does anyone else hate cleaning the tub and shower too? Also, isn’t it ironic that the area that sees the most soap and water in my house can get the yuckiest??

  31. Bethany peterson says:

The tub! Hate cleaning it, and can’t find many natural products that are strong enough to get it clean. Thanks for the give- away!

  32. My biggest cleaning challenge has to be the tub/shower. Hubby usually does it for me though!

    Dusting! I hate it.

  39. My biggest challenge is getting my husband to help. He is a stay at home dad while searching for work, and although he says he’ll help out, he complains frequently about all the fumes from the cleaning products we currently have. I remember my mom and nana using Shaklee products when I was younger (my nana was a supplier for a while), and I liked them (as much as a high school kid will, when being forced to do their chores).

  40. My biggest challenge is a manufactured wood floor. It NEVER looks clean! I have had wood floors before and found them to be extremely forgiving, but this one is awful!

  46. My biggest cleaning challenge is having the energy and motivation to do it! I also have stubborn stains in my kitchen sink that taunt me with their grossness!

  47. My biggest cleaning challenge is letting things clutter up the counter. I guess that’s more a clutter challenge. For cleaning I guess I would have to say getting the bathtub clean. We have an old tub and it’s hard to make it look nice.

  48. My biggest cleaning challenge is the bathroom – more specifically I hate cleaning the bathroom, especially the shower. I don’t mind cleaning the toilet, oddly enough. but the shower floor and the bathroom floor are my least favorite tasks of all.

  49. I subscribe in Google Reader.

  50. My Biggest challenge is the kitchen counters, I am constantly in a state of cooking a meal or a snack!! Ahh!

I also signed up to receive your emails! Love your Blog!

  51. My biggest challenge is finding the time and doing it often enough without obsessing over how often I do clean!

  52. I subscribe to life as mom via google reader!

  53. My most challenging area is the tub/shower.

But probably just the challenge of having 6 people (4 kids, 6 and under) in a 1100 square foot house and trying to keep it from always looking like it’s due for a cleaning (even if I just cleaned that morning!) is my biggest challenge!

  54. My biggest challenge is motivation! If I can just get started on it, I’m fine but it’s just getting motivated enough to start that gets me!

  55. My biggest cleaning challenge is remembering to do the “big things”… i.e., vacuuming, dusting, etc. – the things you don’t do every day- on a somewhat regular basis. I love your idea of a cleaning schedule!

  56. I’m a subscriber through Google Reader!

  57. This is great! I’ve been wanting to try this too! My hardest cleaning project is always our master bathroom. It is really dusty for some reason and always the last on the list to get cleaned because it is the least seen space. I hate that job! Thanks!

  58. Melissa Lowrie says:

Like so many others, my biggest cleaning challenge is the shower….I loathe it!!

  67. My hardest job is cleaning the showers! I get exhausted after scrubbing them down.

  68. I subscribed to your email updates.

  69. My biggest challenge is all of it. I have a 10-month-old that doesn’t nap unless I nap with her or she is in my arms. Since I don’t have naptime to clean, it usually doesn’t happen. My house isn’t too big of pigsty though–I do pickup several times a day and my kitchen is generally clean.

  70. My bath tub(s). I dread cleaning them:(

  71. I struggle with the exact same thing! I would love to have a beautifully clean house, but I don’t always do it on schedule. Or really have a schedule! I would love to try this new product!

  72. I already subscribe to your RSS feed.

  73. My biggest cleaning challenge is children! :)

  79. My biggest challenges – the things that don’t every really come clean – like the hard water stains in the sink and shower door and the grimy white refrigerator door handle – AND that I have to keep cleaning. Mopped the kitchen floor yesterday and apple juice was spilled on it right away. Ugh. Also bathrooms used by twin 5-yo boys…. I guess I have a lot of cleaning challenges. Thanks for the tips!

  80. My biggest challenge is DOING it…especially the kitchen. I hate doing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen!

Thanks for the giveaway.

  94. My biggest challenge is finding the time to stay on top of cleaning.

  95. My challenge is the bathrooms. They seem to be dirty right after I clean them.

  96. The bathroom floor. I can get everything else clean in there but opening a block of time long enough to scrub the floor and let it dry is a challenge with 5 people and 1 bathroom. Second to that is the bathtub. And the fact that it’s dirty again 5 minutes later…

  97. I really don’t like cleaning the shower. I can’t seem to find a product that works and doesn’t smell up the whole house with chemicals.

  99. My kitchen floors–really need to do a better job cleaning them!

  104. My biggest challenge is the shower. I had a VERY scary episode in the middle of the night a few months back where I woke up sick & with very painful breathing trouble like I have never experienced before. Long story short we figured out that it was in direct correlation to the heavy duty bathroom cleaning I had done that evening & since then I am totally paranoid about the fumes when I am cleaning the bathroom! I use that as my excuse to not clean the shower as often as I should ;)

  105. I subscribe to you via my google reader!

  106. My challenge is our kitchen floor. It has little grooves in it that dirt gets caught in and you have to scrub every inch on your hands and knees if you want it all to come out!!!

  107. Our hardwood floors need to be sanded and redone so they always look dirty — even when they are clean!

  108. My biggest problem is the bathroom. Always seems icky, and I use about 5 different cleaners to clean the whole thing. It would be great to use one product that doesn’t make me want to choke from the fumes!

  109. My biggest challenge is keeping the bathroom clean with 3 boys!

  110. My biggest challenge is our laminate wood floors, they NEVER look clean no matter what I do! There always seems to be a film left behind, even with the praised Steam Mop. Will these products be safe on laminate floors?

  111. I subscribe via my igoogle home page and love the instant updates!

  112. Windows!

  113. my biggest cleaning challenge: living with a two-year-old and his peanut buttery hands that touch *everything*

  114. My biggest cleaning challenge lately is keeping mildew at bay along the grout lines in the bathtub. There’s no exhaust fan or window in the bathroom, so it’s tough to get air to circulate and get surfaces dry. That also makes it a challenge to stay in the room while you’re trying to clean it with traditional bathroom cleaners!

  115. I also subscribe to you in Google reader.

  116. My biggest cleaning challenge are the bathrooms!

  127. i ditto the tub/shower that many have mentioned.

  128. I would love to try these products.

  129. My biggest cleaning challenge is our dark hardwood floors. They show every speck of dust!

  130. The toilet — definitely!! I have two boys. ‘Nuf said. :)

  131. i read you via blogger

  132. The bath tub!! I feel I can NEVER get it clean enough. I have been using Comet with Bleach and I seem to bleach the tub, the floor and myself in the whole process. Plus as mentioned above the fumes are pretty intense. Lastly, I always wonder if I have rinsed it enough before giving my children their bath after I have cleaned the tub and since I am bathing my baby in there now it has become an even bigger concern!

  133. my biggest cleaning challenge is the floors. I hate cleaning them, but I have to vacuum or sweep every other day. ugh.

  134. My biggest challenge is just getting my butt in gear and actually doing it! :)

  138. My biggest challenges are scrubbing the tub and keeping up with the cat fur.

  139. My biggest cleaning challenge is mopping my floors!

  141. My biggest cleaning challenge is simply finding the time.

  142. My biggest cleaning challenge is keeping all the toys for 6 kids picked up and organized!

  143. I follow L.A.M on my google rreader.

  144. Finding time is absolutely the hardest thing.

  145. LOL! I’m the weird one, I don’t mind cleaning the tub (the last tub we had was G R O S S & took forever to clean; this one is a piece of cake)
My biggest challenge is finding the time…I always seem to get maybe 10% done when one of the kids need something which turns into things which then interupts my cleaning groove.
But someone mentioned manufactured wood floors & I agree we have a darker fake wood floor where we rent now & it never seems to be completely clean. So that & DUST, hate it

  148. My biggest cleaning challenge is my boys’ bathroom. They are starting to clean it themselves, so some natural cleaners would be great for them!

  149. Just finding a moment or two when the kids are occupying themselves is my biggest challenge.

  150. My biggest cleaning challenge would have to be my sliding glass doors. I love them, but cleaning them cab be a bear as I have to do inside and out, plus they’re separated into panes so I can’t just do big strokes. Oh well, they look really pretty!

  151. My biggest challenge is getting others to pitch in. It seems no sooner do I get a room neat and organized to my standard that 5 minutes after I move on to the next room they trash the room I just finished.

Another challenge is finding the room to store stuff to keep it organized. We have a small house with a shed.

Being a working-part-time and full-time-in-school mom of 2 with a hubby who works full time and goes to school part time, my biggest challenge is definitely finding the time! I do have a schedule with one chore daily and that really helps. Plus, the kids are getting old enough to actually help more than picking up and putting away and dusting! If I stay on top of it and it isn’t too bad. Get behind, it gets awful really fast! So definitely time.

Thanks for hosting this give away,
    Lea

  153. Keeping my kitchen floor clean! I clean it at least 5 x’s a day and it still seems dirty!!!

  154. My biggest challenge is keeping the kitchen clean. It’s probably the most used area in the house so it is constantly messy.
I also have a problem with finishing things…I tend to start cleaning each room at least once a week but I never seem to finish, lol.

  155. I also subscribe via google reader!

  156. My biggest challenge right now-a 5-year-old, a 4-year-old, a 21-month-old, and a 6-week-old! I have to get back to a routine for even basic cleaning soon!

  163. I subscribe via Google Reader. Thanks!

  164. I think my biggest challenge is keeping the tub and shower clean.

  165. My biggest challenge is consistency with the “schedule.” Normally, I am a pretty scheduled person, but with 5 children ages 9 months to seven years, cleaning falls lower on the priority list. Then, I open the oven, or look at the kitchen floor and think, “GOOD GRIEF! How did this get so FILTHY?” Following the utter shock and awe at how quickly things get dirty, I proceed to scour away at the newly found mess (and we have a late dinner).

  166. My biggest challenge is the bathroom! With 4 boys…well you know :(

  167. My biggest challenge – keeping the house clean – usually it’s destroyed again in the time it takes me to turn my back….

Not sure if this has been said – but if you need to take the onion smell off your hands- Basic H2 works GREAT – actually, it’s the only product I’ve found that actually works to totally remove the smell! :)

  174. And I subscribe in Google Reader…thanks:)

  175. My biggest challenge? Motivation!

  176. My biggest challenge is cleaning the bathroom, mainly just going in there to do it. I also have problems keeping the kitchen clean because I feel like I’m always making a mess in there.

  177. My biggest cleaning challenge is the laundry and keeping the stains out of the children’s clothing. The next challenge is keeping my kitchen sink clean.

  178. Cleaning the kitchen floor…the squares are old and the pattern is grey and cream with brown speckles, so it never looks clean no matter how much time I take. Kinda discouraging.

  179. My biggest challenge is the bathroom!

  180. Rhonda Rouse says:

My hardest to clean area is my shower. The walls are old tub surround and just never seem to look clean even after a good scrub. I’d love to try a new product in hopes of making it an easier job.

  181. The tub and the toilet are the worst.

  182. My biggest challenge is keeping my 6 mo. old happy while I’m cleaning at the same time. :)
That and my husband laughs at the certain jobs I hate – I’ll take toilets over cleaning the oven any day. …I know I’m weird. :)

  190. My biggest challenge is the toilet. We have hard water and to get the orangy stains off is difficult. A friend told me once to use a pumice stone, so I do that once in a while. It takes a lot of arm power, but it does get most of it off. I would love an easier way!

  192. I already have subscribed to your page and get your emails.

  193. My husband and I are apartment managers for two apartment buildings, which means that I’m in charge of making sure all the windows are clean. With our first addition on the way any day now, pretty soon I’ll be carrying him around as I go on my cleaning bouts, and I’m worried that the fumes from normal glass cleaner will be bad for his little lungs.

  194. we run a woodstove and fireplace so I spend so much time dusting, dusting, dusting two floors then dusting some more..

  195. One of my biggest is getting the bathroom tile floor clean. I know it’s from hair products but it takes forever to get it to come clean.

  196. I’m an email subscriber too.
    thanks

  197. My biggest cleaning challenge is my kitchen floor, which when we moved in I thought I loved, but now looking back I wonder what I was thinking! It’s cream color, very nice looking, but 3 kids later armed with countless friends, topped off with a daycare of 6 kids everyday, again, what was I thinking!!

  198. I have trouble with our black porcelain stove top. You can’t ‘scrub’ it or you’ll scratch it and it always looks like there’s rings of water on it.

  203. It seems as if every time I clear off the counter, it gets cluttered again.

  204. My biggest challenge is keeping the kitchen clean. I use it so much for everyday cooking and also for canning that during the garden season I can’t keep up with keeping it clean.

  205. I am an email subscriber.

  206. All the toys that are always everywhere. I have storage bins for all of them to be orgainized but somehow they are always spread out throughout the house.

  208. My biggest cleaning challenge is not my two small kids or my husband…but my 7 year old Labrador Retriever! Her dog hair is everywhere…I sweep, mop and vacuum constantly and STILL it appears in every corner of our home. I would love to win this basic cleaner to help keep my floors clean! Thanks!

  213. LOVE Shaklee! I have been using them for over 2 years now. One time, I ran out and just picked up some cleaning products at Target. YUCK! I felt like I was being poisoned! Needless to say, I ordered Shaklee again and I try to have plan ahead so I don’t run out again.

And yes, the bottle lasts for a very long time. My bottle of Basic H lasted me about a year.

  214. Heather Abbott says:

My biggest cleaning challenge is consistency. My husband and I usually go through and do a big cleaning of everything, which seems to be dirty again almost immediately with 2 kids and a dog. But just finding the time to keep up with it regularly instead of the spurts of cleanliness when it gets overwhelming.

  215. My biggest cleaning challenge is working full-time and getting all of the cleaning done.

  216. My biggest challenge is the iron/magnesium water stains/deposits that our well water leaves on EVERYTHING. I don’t like using caustic cleaners, but usually have to use them once in a while to combat the staining.

  217. Keeping my floors cleaned is the hardest thing for me.

  218. I follow on Twitter and tweetejennaod “@FishMama is giving away Basic H2. Enter to win: http://wp.me/pLlgS-2Aw d:

  223. Keeping white floors clean and white! I’m thinking a brown floor would be my next choice!

  224. Dusting is most certainly my biggest leaning challenge. It’s just so time consuming, even with the small amount of actual knickknacks we have out. It only gets done about a tenth of the time time it really needs to be done. Give me a bathroom to scrub over dusting any day

  225. I follow you on twitter and re-tweeted!

  227. The shower. Or mopping the hardwood kitchen floor enough to keep my crawling-boy clean.

  229. My biggest cleaning challenge is the fact that I run a large family chd care home with 9 kidlets every day, ages 3 months – 3.5 years. Despite the fact that as soon as I get the kitchen floor swept and wiped after a meal or snack, it seems like it’s time to do it again, I’m able to keep the main floor living space pretty clean. My problem is that our upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms seem to never make it on to my ‘done’ list. It’s so tempting to not want to take a huge break at naptime and not scurry up there and work for 15mins!

  230. I’m a subscriber (and don’t know how I’d get through my day without you!)!

  235. You always have such great give away’s! My biggest challenge is twofold – cleaning with a 13 month old clinging to my leg who then wants to bite everything, so I have to make sure its diluted enough or is not harmful. A prize like this would take at least one worry off my mind :) Please pick me!

My biggest challenge is my whole house. I have 2 little girls who I refer to as the “vortex of destruction”. They can tear apart a room in about 15 seconds!! After picking up after them constantly it’s hard to find the energy to actually clean!

  238. My biggest cleaning challenge is motivation! New cleaning products always help with that though. ;)

    Thanks for the cool giveaway!

  239. Annette Holbrook says:

My biggest cleaning challenge right now is that I’m almost 12 weeks pregnant with my 5th child and I’ve been really sick and exhausted. My hubby has been doing a lot of the cleaning when he can fit it in since he’s working. I’m sure he’d love to try something to make his job easier.

  240. My biggest challenge is keeping the whole house clean. We are 6 in a 2 bdrm, 1 bath home. So by the time I finish cleaning the house, I turn around and it’s like I didn’t do anything :( We always have guest over so its always a constant drag carrying all my supplies with me. Thanks for the entry :)

  246. laundry stains and just housekeeping in general, I’m not very good.

DH hates the way I do dishes so much, he took that over.

  247. My biggest cleaning challenge is the bathroom. Getting my bathtub and toilet as clean and sparkling as I want them to be seems to be impossible.

  249. Biggest cleaning challenge…other than finding the motivation to actually clean? It would have to be laundry….it just never ends!

  250. My biggest cleaning challenge is cleaning the stovetop. It never looks “like new”

  251. I hate the way most cleaners have such a strong scent. I would like a cleaner that cleans well without the fumes.

  252. Bonnie Williams says:

we have hard water, so the hardest to clean is the rust on the shower and toliet. No matter how hard I scrub and different products and sponges and pads it never completely comes off.

  253. One of my biggest cleaning problems is keeping the shower floor clean……it is a white and no matter how much scrubbing or how often it always looks dirty. These products look like a great option……hope I win ;)

  254. I’d have to say my biggest cleaning challenge is the showers and floors–they are slate and alot of products can’t be used on it.

  255. My hardest spot to clean by far is the oven. I have a very old wall oven that is not self cleaning. It’s deep and kind of narrow so it is very hard to clean!

  256. The SHOWER! I hate cleaning it!

  257. The bathroom is always a challenge. It seems like right after I clean it, it’s dirty again.

  258. I subscribe via e-mail.

  259. My biggest challenge is that as soon as I finish it needs doing again (as in the dusting, vacuuming, toilets, etc). The children are more than willing to help for which I am very grateful but we’re still working on getting the right tools (need lightweight vacuum) and the best schedule. Letting go of my own standards to let them help already did wonders toward actually getting the work done.

  260. My biggest challenge is finding the motivation and energy. There are so many other things I’d rather do than clean!

  267. My biggest challenge is fitting it into the schedule – maybe I need to try a cleaning routine!

  268. The shower is the biggest challenge in our household!

  272. I tweeted the giveaway!

  273. Cleaning the tub is my nemesis. First, I just couldn’t find something to clean well, then I found a great scrubbing bubbles tool but it wasn’t eco-friendly and now they discontinued it. So that’s my challenge!

  316. My bathtub is hard to keep clean and my countertops just stay cluttered.

  317. My biggest challenge, aside from lack of enough time in a day, is finding products that will perform on a multitude of surfaces, and do so well. I use vinegar and other “natural” products when I can, but end up having to go with something harsher to take care of things like the tub and shower that I neglect too long between cleanings. I wish there was something that I could just spray on everything and then just wipe down.
