Plan a Great Weekend

Usually by the time Friday rolls around here, I am beat. Hubs is exhausted. Yet, we still want to spend good time together since we have two whole days at our disposal, overtime schedules permitting.

Yet, two different bloggers have convinced me of the need to plan for the weekend. These are old posts, but I found them both helpful and inspiring. So, I’m sending you over there so you can be, too. Helped and inspired, that is.

Now, read, and then go make your short list of what you can do to make the most of the time you have this weekend.

What will YOU do to set yourself up for success?

  1. Thank you Jessica! I hope you have a nice weekend too!

  2. Hi Jessica,

Thanks so much for including my post in your article! Doing even a little bit before the weekend usually makes a HUGE difference. Good luck to you and your fabulous readers :)

  3. My biggest thing to do to ensure that we all have a good, stree-free weekend is to do a quick clean-up before the weekend starts. I’m a SAHM, so it is a bit easier, but I make sure the laundry is caught up, the guest bathroom is cleaned and that there are fresh linens on the beds — in addition to all the rest of the house straightening duties. Other things we do: plan something for just the family, whether it be going to a movie or going to the park; plan special breakfasts for the weekend mornings; and Date Night with DH.

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
