Ultimate Recipe Swap: 30 Minute Meals

The past two months have definitely given me a run for my money when it comes to quick-fix suppers. I have to fight hard the temptation to run to Chipotle for burritos instead of just throwing something together quickly.

This list of quick fix suppers and this list of dinners from “nothing” have helped me immensely. I turn to them often.

Here are some of my favorite meals that can be thrown together in 30 minutes or less:

Cheese Enchiladas

Sandwich Bar with Baguette

Quesadillas

Breakfast for Supper

Having a repertoire of quick fix suppers is essential to make eating at home easy and delicious.

Remember: Each week at Ultimate Recipe Swap, there is a posted theme. You are welcome to share any recipe that fits the theme and contains a link back to Life as MOM. If you’re curious about the upcoming themes, I have a calendar here. This week’s theme is 30 Minute Meals.

If you have a recipe that fits the theme, please link it. However, things like Beef Strogonaff will be deleted from Chicken week because it doesn’t contain chicken. Please keep this meme as helpful to others as we can.

And don’t make me the bad guy! ;)

  1. Thank you for hosting. I shared my lemon pepper salmon this week. You can use any fish, I use tilapia sometimes. Everything is done and on the table in 30 minutes. Throw the rice in the rice cooker, change out of your work clothes, and preheat the oven. Once it’s heated the salmon only needs to cook for 13 minutes. Make your salad and veggie during that time and you have dinner.

  2. Thanks for hosting! Just found you through “the recipe critic” . have a great day!

  3. I hear you, I have been pressed for time lately too. Can’t wait to see all the fast dinners that people share!

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
