Giving gifts can often be just as fun as getting them. In fact, I’ve found that when I take the attention off myself and try to bless other people, that the whole season is lots more enjoyable.

Yesterday I shared five frugal gift ideas that I have made for friends and family over the years. From now until December 24, we’ll be sharing frugal ideas for gift giving.

  1. After I read your post on pampering yourself at Thanksgiving, I decided to give a “spa gift basket” to my sister-in-law and maybe some others in the family. I have recently stumbled upon someone in my town who makes soaps, lotions, lip balms, and more. I love her products. They are pricier than if I bought something generic at Wal-Mart, so I can’t get her much. But in a nice basket, those few things are going to look great. Plus there are the many weeks of nasty ingredient-free cleansing and moisturizing that she will get.
