I just wanted to thank you, Dear Reader, for your support. I started writing professionally about 7 1/2 years ago. I was stunned when the first magazine accepted an article I wrote — and actually paid me for it.
Five and a half years ago I started writing in this space, and I’m stunned again at the opportunity to chat with you.
In the beginning, having a spot to ramble about anything and everything was so good for me as my family and I struggled with paying off debt, having a sixth baby, moving across country, and losing my mother-in-law to cancer. So much was out of my control in that first year; it was great therapy to be able to come here and spill what God was teaching me and showing me.
I appreciate you for reading what I have to say, for offering great feedback in the comments, and for buying my books when you are able. I know that when I have a question, I can throw it out there and access thousands of wonderful, brilliant minds. Thank you for being among them.
I hope that your Thanksgiving is restful and full of good food and good times with friends and family.
