Fun is in the air now that spring has sprung. While it’s great to get outside and enjoy the warm weather, there are days that call for indoor fun. Check out these fun spring crafts for kids. Be sure to pin them for next year so you’ve got them ready for Easter and Mother’s Day as well!
I don’t know about yours, but my kids could do crafts all the live long day!
Confetti Eggs – Carefully remove the uncooked egg from the shell, rinse, dry, and fill with confetti. These make for fun replacements for water balloons.
Embroidery Floss Balls – Make these egg-shaped or rounded, either way they are a fun way to add color to your decor. Hang them as a mobile, too.
Flower Pot Place Cards – Perfect table settings for holiday brunch, birthday parties, baby or wedding showers, and mothers luncheons. Repurpose the pots with Christmas trees and gingerbread people later in the year.
Homemade Window Clings – A little bit of glue and food coloring is all you need for fun window clings. Even big kids like to make these.
Satin Flower Hair Clips – Everything’s in bloom! Even these easy-to-craft hair clips.
Spring Salt Dough Candle Holders – Make play dough fun into a lasting keepsake. Mix up a batch of salt dough and preserve your child’s creations.
DIY Fairy (or Butterfly) Wings – our girls LOVE wearing these simple, no-sew wings. They flutter in the wind and bounce back between being butterflies or fairies.
Homemade Finger Paint – make your own paint with regular pantry staples. Weather permitting, do the painting outside.
With a little creativity and the color green, any of these can be adapted to be fun family activities for St Patrick’s Day.
