Time to tackle clutter and disorganization and maybe too much stuff. This month we are organizing our travel gear so we can hit the road with a smile. This post does include affiliate links. If you make a purchase through those links, I am paid a small amount in way of advertising fees. Your price does not […]
Make use of little minutes to accomplish the projects on your plate instead of waiting for a big block of time. photo source: Kenny Louie I am the kind of person who likes to finish a project once I start it. I get into this zone and just hammer away until the road is clear. […]
On Zone Defense in April, we tackled cluttered living spaces. What a difference, eh? I can’t tell you how happy this little space makes me. It’s a small thing, for sure. But, man, it packs a punch. I had big plans for my Zone Defense this latter part of the month, didn’t I? You were […]
Oh, I am SUCH a slacker. Not only have some of our main living/storage areas gotten really, really bad, but I also failed to post this Zone Defense assignment earlier in the month. Just like the junk that I don’t feel like I have time to put away, this post languished in drafts.
You know this program is all about the blind leading the blind, right?
Everyone who thinks that she’s a horrid housekeeper will get a reality check today. You are not alone! We do a fairly decent job of pick-up several times a day, but my kids (and I) are pretty good at stashing things so that on the outside things LOOK neat and tidy, but inside lurks a mess.
If you’re just tuning in, this is my monthly Zone Defense assignment. I am not one of those spic-and-span housekeepers. There are just not enough hours in the day. While we clean on a daily basis, clutter piles up. It multiplies like fruit flies on a hot summer day.
On Zone Defense in March, we organized the linen cupboard and laundry areas. So, here we are at our monthly Zone Defense check-in. If you’re just tuning in, you know that we’re facing off against clutter and disorganization. Time to get this place ship-shape, folks. A few weeks ago I explained my goals for getting […]
Time to tackle clutter and disorganization and maybe too much stuff. This month we head to the laundry room to score big. We do a lot of laundry at our house. I think that I’ve counted at least ten regular loads, but probably closer to fourteen in any given week. With six active kids, you can imagine […]
On Zone Defense in February, we set the kitchen to rights. Okay, team, it’s time for the monthly Zone Defense check-in, only 12 days late. Sorry about that ! If you showed up for practice last month, you know that February’s play was to tackle, er, that is, reorganize and dejunk the kitchen. The kitchen, sometimes known […]
I’ve had my iPhone for about two years now. It was a big leap for me to get one. Previously, I’d owned only free, not-so-smart phones that I upgraded only when the provider was offering me a new FREE phone. It took a lot of convincing to get me to pay even one cent for […]
