Giving gifts can often be just as fun as getting them. In fact, I’ve found that when I take the attention off myself and try to bless other people, that the whole season is lots more enjoyable.
Yesterday I shared five frugal gift ideas that I have made for friends and family over the years. From now until December 24, we’ll be sharing frugal ideas for gift giving.
DIY Coupon Book Instructions
Making your own coupon book is a great way to give a custom gift. It can be as extravagant or as budget-friendly as you like. You only need a few paper craft supplies and a list of activities you want to gift.
It takes just minutes and a few household ingredients to mix up a batch of Lavender Milk Bath. Perfect for relaxing or giving as a gift, this homemade milk bath is super frugal and a great way to DIY on a dime.
Got a graduation to celebrate? Here are some good gift ideas that won’t cost a fortune. There have been many seasons of our life when we really didn’t have extra money to spend on birthdays, graduation, or baby gifts. It wasn’t that I wanted to be cheap; we just didn’t have the extra money to…
Remember the easy, peasy gingerbread and Christmas tree gift tags I shared with you awhile ago? Afterward I realized how cute they would be to use as place cards for your holiday dinner. How fun! The base is similar to the base that I used for the flower place cards back at Easter time. If…
Directions and template to help you craft gingerbread people paper dolls — a great gift you can yourself. Paper dolls are great for gift tags as well as for play. I’ve got children who love to craft. LOVE. Okay, maybe the two bigger ones (12 and 15) think they’re a little too old, but you…
Know someone with a long morning commute? Bless him or her with breakfast for the road. Breakfast is an important meal, but one that’s easy to skip. Too easy. We all know we should eat, but …. that morning rush gets the best of us sometimes. This gift is super easy to put together and…
As Black Friday and Cyber Monday approach, so does the anticipation of shopping and finding great deals. Here are five questions you should ask yourself before you spend a dime. My girls love to go shopping with me. Even if it’s just a trip to the grocery store, they are happy to come along. It…
Today’s post is from Lauren Hill, the Mama in Mama’s Laundry Talk. We are so much on the same wavelength. I love reading what she writes. Today she shares how she’s preparing for a new baby at the holidays. I can so relate since two FishBabies were born in November. It’s a wonderful time to…
After I read your post on pampering yourself at Thanksgiving, I decided to give a “spa gift basket” to my sister-in-law and maybe some others in the family. I have recently stumbled upon someone in my town who makes soaps, lotions, lip balms, and more. I love her products. They are pricier than if I bought something generic at Wal-Mart, so I can’t get her much. But in a nice basket, those few things are going to look great. Plus there are the many weeks of nasty ingredient-free cleansing and moisturizing that she will get.
Thanks for sharing a great list of ideas! Good inspiration!

Sounds like a great gift idea!
