Groupon is a coupon-based deal site. Each day a different deal is featured. If enough people sign up, you get the deal. Sign up and receive a daily email with coupon for savings at up to 90% off local deals. Recent deals in my area have included $69 spa treatments and $5 Boat Cruise Tickets.

Today’s deal is the first-ever charity deal. DonorsChoose.org and Groupon have partnered to allow subscribers to donate funds to individual classroom projects. You can select your classroom based on location and project. I was amazed at how many interesting school projects are out there to support.
