This week’s on URS is Special Diet/Food Allergy Week! You don’t have to be on a special diet to share a recipe, but think back into your bag of tricks. What recipes might be good for someone with a gluten sensitivity or a dairy allergy? Chances are you’ve cooked for someone on a special diet at one time or another and you know what a challenge that can be.
For my part, I broke my jaw in college and was on a liquid diet for several weeks. Yuck! But, I got really good at drinkable recipes.
So, think through your recipes and share one that might bless someone on a special diet: gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, meatless, corn-free, you name it, we’re gonna swap it!
