MOM Deals This Week

Looking for ways to save a buck and not have to break the bank just to “do life?” Here are some options to save money or earn free stuff.

Sign up with Swagbucks and use the SwagCode: LIFEASMOM for extra points at registration! Swagbucks are redeemable for all sorts of prizing, including Amazon $. Details here. This special deal expires Monday.

Stremicks Heritage Foods is giving away lots of free 8th Continent Complete soymilk in the next few weeks. Enter to win here.

Want to hop on the couponing bandwagon? I reduced our expenses by $2400 over the last year shopping the sales and using coupons. I usually purchase two papers a week after first checking Taylor Town Preview to make sure it’s worth my buck seventy-five. Freebies4Mom and MoneySavingMom are my “go to girls” for printable coupons and a head’s up on sales. I also love Hot Coupon World for their sneak peaks at Walgreens and CVS specials.

Have you signed up with Ebates yet? I’ve earned over $30 so far in rebates, making purchases online that I was going to make anyway. Planning an online purchase? Go to Ebates first. See if the store you’re shopping is an ebates participant. Click through their link and make your purchase like normal. You get a % back on each purchase. Recently, I ordered a thank you gift card for neighbors who watched our Kansas home since we moved. I got a % back from a gift card even. (Just checked my account. It turns out I got $ back on an item I purchased, but not for the gift card.) But, you can get cash back for referring friends and family.

Some of the best deals are just using what you got. Crystal did a great job “making do” in her Eating from the Pantry Challenge. I was really inspired and hope to try this next month sometime.

    1. covers more online retailers
    2. you can pick and choose who has the best deals and money back.

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
