Thanks to everyone who participated in last week’s Ultimate Recipe Swap. It was fun to read your favorite recipes. Go back and browse the collection of over 50 recipes. Though, they were all good, some that stood out to me this week:
- Phoebe from Cents to Get Debt-Free shared her recipe of cabbage rolls. I heard of these years ago, but have been too timid to try them. Hearing that her husband is a reformed skeptic, I am feeling a little empowered to attempt them.
- Lynn’s a woman after my own heart with her copycat Broccoli-Cheddar Soup of Panera, one of my favorites. Yum!
- And now that fall is approaching, Amy’s Maple Brined Pork Chops with Apples sounds delish!
Everyone who participated in last week’s URS was entered in the giveaway to win Salads by Jane Price. Congratulations to Homesteader’s Heart who submitted Chicken Bryan. Send me your address and I’ll pop your new cookbook in the mail.
This week our topic is Lunchbox Love. What do you like to include in boxed lunches? Got a great cookie recipe? How about a fun way to prepare sandwiches? This week doesn’t have to be a recipe. It can be a packing tip or some other idea to make sack lunches a little more fun.
Everyone who participates will be entered to win another cookbook. Come back on Thursday to find out what it is!
