I know where your hearts lie! What a great turnout for last week’s Summer Desserts. Did you see GoodLife{eats} Creamy Vanilla Apricot Sorbet with White Chocolate Almond Bark? Oh my! I’m thinking that since peaches are $0.47/# at my local store, that I’ll try a peach sorbet and use this recipe as the starting point. Frugal Girl’s 4th of July Fruit Kabobs look like a fun thing to make with the kids. Thanks to everyone who linked up!

This week’s theme is Cooking for a Crowd. With summertime, come BBQs with friends, family reunions, and general getting together. You may find yourself needed to feed many at one time. So, let’s put our heads together. Come Thursday with a recipe that will feed a crowd. Can’t wait to see what you bring to the table!

I bet the sorbet would be AMAZING with peaches! We had nectarines on sale cheap last week and they were so good, I'm hoping to get some more tomorrow since it's double ad day at my favorite store!

I don't have a whole lot of experience cooking for a crowd. I'll have to see what I can come up with. Pasta salads are usually good bets for summer get togethers.

Thanks so much for participating in this conversation about "a mom's life."

This is a place where moms can be themselves. Remember that each mother's path looks a little different. Please keep your comments respectful and kind. Reasonable minds will disagree in a nice way.

So let's talk about it, using "our big girl words."
