What’s on the Menu This Week

We’re coming off a fun weekend with friends, so I’m a little slow getting back into the swing of “real life.” This week we have a family field trip planned as well as dermotology and dental appointments to attend to so planning is the key.

In fact, one of our funny little sayings is, “Pre-planning produces peak performance.” Sounds like an inspirational poster you might find hanging in an office cubicle, doesn’t it? But it’s so true! If we plan ahead, we increase our chances of a positive outcome.

And having a plan for feeding the troops goes part and parcel with positive outcomes. Oh! Don’t I know it. Full tummies produce much happier dispositions, don’t they?

Here’s what’s on our menu this week:

ice cream and apple pie (April Fools!)
banana bread

chicken salad sandwiches
Italian subs
a snacky lunch
DIY pasta salad
salmon and rice
field trip lunch out

alfredo pasta with grilled chicken, steamed broccoli, garlic bread
enchiladas, beans and rice, salad
eggs, bacon, potatoes and donuts (April Fools!)
spaghetti and meatballs, salad, foccaccia
corn dogs, fries, veggies, and dip
pizza and salad
lasagna, salad, and garlic bread
