I’m doing okay! I’m on a 93-day step streak that feels exciting. Granted, I did lower my target to 7500 which is just as good as 10k according to several different studies, but I’m still moving every day.

I will probably up the goal to 10,000 steps once I get past the 100-day mark, but baby steps, right?

Yesterday Bryan and I had our monthly vacay day. We drove to El Cajon to take a tour of the Taylor Guitar factory. As a non-musical person, I felt a little out of place, but I was glad we could do it and that Bryan could play some of their guitars. He’s the lifelong musician of our pair, and it’s fun for me to support it.

Since I’m working on my nutrition goals and we’re both trying to save money, I packed us a picnic. A way he can support me, lol. We took a long walk on the beach in Encinitas before heading home.

Except for the pack of guitar pics he bought and the gas, our day out was totally free. Pretty cool!

sunrise in october over the mountains.

I think fall must officially be here because my sunrises are back! You can peek through past weekly rambles to see that this was the highlight of my fall and winter. The coastal fog obscures/obliterates the sunrise during spring and summer.

What a treat! I’ve been getting up extra early to see God paint the sky. It’s so amazing how quickly it changes!
